Poem

A London Suburb

Lots of boxes;
blocks of flats.
Charged so high
in council tax
for services
we rarely get.
That's why many
get upset.

Royal Borough.
Fishes, three
(Tweedledum
and Tweedledee).

Lots of traffic,
lots of noise.
Lots of kids
with fewish toys.
lots of rich
but many poor.
Smaller shops
might close their doors.

Royal Borough.
Fishes, three
(lucky me
to live in thee).

Surbiton, Surrey

Born in Sussex, lived in Kingston upon Thames since childhood. Single parent to a now teenage son.
