Poem
Thank-You
In the Spring of your love I strayed wayward
Carelessly gentle yet vigilant with love
To the soft grace of your kisses
I immersed myself softly with thee.
Constantly loving you was the price
Of my freedom, to an eternity.
For the first time in my restless life
I Belonged! ; to a sweet surrender
A peace that saves us from ourself.
Not realising what I was looking for
I found you with a clear discernment
And a joy and pleasure of untold sweetness.
You perfected me from a blurry vision
Before I was lost in the chaos of
Past and future, of an uncertain tomorrow
Now you have blessed me with the perfect present
Where I live in silence and in harmony.
So I thank you with a thousand bows
For you have given me a thousand paradises
And wings of a million angels of light!
An atom became a universe of love,
The imperfect vanished with the arrival of you
So the lamentation of glory was rightly due
Where you lead me ceaselessly is pure bliss
I grasp with awe for letting me share this
So, to love, for love, with love, thee I kiss
Thank-you Thank-you Thank-you for this bliss.
