Biography:

Born in New York and raised in New Jersey, AR Marsh attended Rutgers University following a stint in the US Navy. After raising his family and retiring from a long career in business, AR and his wife relocated to central North Carolina. Twice a Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities short story award winner, AR’s short fiction has been published internationally. AR pursues his passion for the written word in the small town of Southern Pines, North Carolina. AR Marsh's influences as a writer include Carver, Updike and Hemingway, along with Stephen King, James Lee Burke, and Cormac McCarthy. Thomas Wolfe is a personal favorite and perhaps his over abundance of words pushed AR into his own minimalist style of writing. Latest Projects: a novella, Orville’s Divine Cadillac and Used Car Emporium.
